Darren is a key figure leading the acquisitions and asset management team for DB Capital’s portfolio in the Western United States, which currently includes assets in Denver and Salt Lake City. As Regional Vice President, he assumes ultimate responsibility for all aspects of the deal lifecycle within his markets. This includes overseeing acquisitions, executing business plans, managing capital markets relations, and above all, providing best-in-class risk-adjusted returns for investors in his portfolio.

Before joining DB Capital, Darren held the position of Manager on the mergers and acquisitions team at NGL Energy Partners, where he managed the acquisition and disposition of over $1.3 billion worth of midstream oil and gas assets. Prior to NGL Energy Partners, Darren worked as a Senior Associate in the Advisory and Consulting group at Ernst & Young.

Darren holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado. Additionally, he is a CFA Charterholder and an active member of the CFA Society of Colorado. Outside his professional endeavors, Darren enjoys playing golf, spending time with family and friends and enjoying all that the Colorado outdoors have to offer.
